Sharing Blessing

Whenever people ask us, “What’s the best part of your trip?” we almost answer in unison, “The SNOW!”. You can’t blame us; we don’t have snow in the Philippines. And I confess, it brought an indescribable, wonderful feeling when we saw snow falling from the sky. It was awesome!

But the next thing I definitely enjoyed was our short visit to Cypress Lawn Cemetery. Why a cemetery?! Well, I like the ambience—so peaceful and quiet. I love the trees and the wild birds. The structures are amazing plus you’ll see a lot of interesting inscriptions on tombstones. I got to see a squirrel and hummingbird, too (for the first time!). And I can’t help but be in awe at the beauty of God’s creation. I call that a break!

Disneyland is a great place to go to. The site is awesome, the rides are wild plus the shows are great! I was inspired of the families I saw in there. They went like a small group; the father being the captain and his wife and kids as crew. I couldn’t help but tell myself, ‘If the Lord wills that I’d have a family of my own someday, I’d love to bring them to Disneyland—my husband leading us.’

I have so many other great things to share about the trip. Maybe later I’ll post one at a time. It’s best to put pictures, too. When I have the pictures ready, I’ll surely put some here.

But of course, above all, we marveled at the work of God’s hand in us. He blessed us beyond all we could ask or imagine. He made us minister to people of different race, culture, and language. He is awesome! Plus, he brought us to meet brethren and co-workers in Christ.

I love building friendship and keeping relationships. I’m so blessed to meet a lot during our stay in the West. They will surely be cherished and treasured. Praise the Lord!
